Sustainability Policy and Goals

 

Moracea by Khao Lak Resort recognizes the critical importance of operating in a responsible and sustainable manner. We are fully committed to integrating sustainability principles into all areas of our operations, ensuring that our practices are guided by integrity, ethics, and professionalism. Our approach considers the interests of all stakeholders, the well-being of society, and the protection of the natural environment.
To demonstrate our commitment to reducing environmental impact, supporting biodiversity, and promoting fairness and equity, we have established the following sustainability policy and corresponding goals:

Environmental Responsibility

• We aim to reduce electricity consumption by a minimum of 0.5% in 2025 compared to 2024 levels.
• We aim to reduce water consumption by a minimum of 0.5% in 2025 compared to 2024 levels.
• We implement a comprehensive waste separation program, classifying waste into organic, general, recyclable, and hazardous categories to ensure appropriate and responsible disposal.
• We are committed to conserving and protecting green spaces within the resort premises, contributing to long-term environmental sustainability.
• We will reduce the impact of water usage by reusing appropriately treated or reclaimed water where feasible.
  
  

Sustainable Sourcing and Biodiversity

• We prioritize sourcing agricultural and food products from responsible suppliers that do not contribute to deforestation or harm marine ecosystems.
• We actively participate in and advocate for the protection, restoration, and sustainable management of terrestrial and marine ecosystems, with the goal of enhancing biodiversity.
  
  

Social Responsibility and Human Rights

• We are committed to maintaining a safe and healthy working environment, with full compliance with applicable labor laws and regulations.
• We uphold and respect human rights across all stakeholder groups, ensuring a work environment free from discrimination, harassment, or unfair treatment, and promoting equality and fairness in all business activities.
• We are fully committed to protecting children from all forms of exploitation, abuse, or violence.

Human Rights Policy

Moracea by Khao Lak Resort is committed to upholding and promoting human rights in every aspect of our operations. We recognize our responsibility to respect and protect the dignity, well-being, and rights of all individuals affected by our activities, including employees, guests, suppliers, community members, and other stakeholders.

1. Policy Scope
   
   This policy applies to all employees, contractors, suppliers, and business partners operating on behalf of Moracea by Khao Lak Resort. It also guides our engagement with the wider community and informs our approach to responsible tourism
